We designed Catori Canyon’s amenities to complement the way people come to Southern Utah to live, gather and unwind. From our pools and year-round hot tub to pickleball courts, playgrounds and outdoor spaces, each amenity creates another reason to slow down and enjoy where you are.
And just like our homes, the details matter. These spaces were built to feel like a natural extension of the community, with thoughtful design, quality materials and a setting that is distinctly Kanab.

Built to a Higher Standard
Commercial-Grade Quality, Designed for Catori Canyon
At Catori Canyon, the quality of the community doesn’t stop at the front door. The shared spaces were designed and built with the same level of care we expect from the homes themselves.
From the pool complex and pavilions to the benches, picnic tables and even the amenity restrooms, these are not lightweight residential-grade additions. The amenities were built to commercial-grade standards comparable to those used by municipalities and school districts, with durability, function and long-term use in mind.
Three large pavilions provide shaded gathering space around the community, complemented by custom-built heavy steel picnic tables featuring the Catori Canyon logo. Throughout the amenity areas, custom steel benches and matching steel trash receptacles continue that same level of detail and consistency.
That attention to construction is easy to miss in a list of amenities, but it matters when you experience the community in person. The substantial steel structures, stonework, shaded spaces and permanent fixtures make these areas feel finished, established and designed to last.

Two Pools, One Easy Escape
Resort-Style Swimming, Relaxing and Gathering at the Heart of Catori Canyon
Catori Canyon’s pool area was designed around the way people actually spend time in Southern Utah. Some mornings call for movement, with a few quiet laps before the day begins. Other afternoons are meant for families, splashing, lingering, and letting the hours stretch a little longer than planned.
The two pools make room for both. One combines lap-style lanes with a more playful side, including a volleyball net and basketball hoops at both ends of the pool. It works just as well for a morning swim as it does for a little friendly competition later in the day.
The second pool leans more toward family recreation, with varied depths that make it comfortable for younger swimmers in the shallows and older, more confident swimmers in the deeper sections. Fountain features add another playful element to the water and give the pool its own distinct character.
Both pool areas include shaded poolside seating, making it easier to settle in for the afternoon, keep an eye on the kids, or simply step out of the sun between swims without leaving the heart of the action.
And then there’s the hot tub. As the desert heat softens and the red cliffs begin to catch the last light of the day, the pace changes. This is the time for an evening soak, a conversation that runs a little longer, or simply a few quiet minutes under the open Kanab sky. After a day on the trails, a round of pickleball, or an afternoon by the pool, it becomes one of those simple luxuries that is easy to imagine becoming part of your routine.
What makes the pool complex work so well is not just that there are multiple ways to use it. It is that each one fits naturally into the rhythm of life here, from the first swim of the morning to the last bit of evening light.

Pickleball brings a little friendly competition to life at Catori Canyon. The dedicated courts give owners and guests an easy place to play, whether that means an early match before the day gets underway or a few games after returning from an afternoon exploring Southern Utah. With the pools visible just beyond the courts, recreation becomes part of the everyday rhythm of the community.
Across the amenity area, the playground gives kids a place to simply be kids. With slides, climbing features and room to move, it offers the kind of freedom families want, within the comfort of an enclosed, secure community. Parents can feel at ease while kids play, explore and burn off a little energy beneath the wide Kanab sky.
Surrounded by lawn, open space and the red-rock landscape beyond, even an afternoon at the playground still feels connected to the Southern Utah setting that makes Catori Canyon special.
Together, these spaces add variety to life at Catori Canyon. A day here does not have to revolve around a single activity. There is room to swim, compete, play, gather or simply decide what sounds good next.
